Now Playing Tracks

No YOU’RE rotating your blorbo in your mind like they’re in a microwave. I’m rotating my blorbo in my head like a trophy from Super Smash Brothers Brawl’s Trophy Gallery after I’ve left them idle long enough while reading their bio. Very relaxing music is playing. I am now rotating them at a bunch of different angles with the help of my Wii remote and zooming them in uncomfortably close to the screen so I can admire the rendered details put into their character model. We are not the same.

I am kicking my blorbo like the football

I’m trying to find a gift for my new baby nephew, and I was looking at rompers and the like, and my options seem to be “colorful with misogynistic tag lines” or “sad gray mommy beige aesthetic,” and I know they said they don’t need any more toys but hnnnnngh.

Also using this as an opportunity to gift my niece a musical baby shark bubble-blowing machine. Because what if she feels left out and also, what’s the point of being an aunty if you can’t gift unholy noise-making terrors that will make your in-laws salt the ground you walk on?

so insane how for profit the recycling industry is and how much it depends on there being buyers for the materials that sorting facilities collect. if they dont have people who want to buy the recycled material to remake into other stuff its basically useless and gets thrown out so what is recyclable is more dependent on what markets exist for certain materials rather than what is feasible to recycle and repurpose overall. a lot of materials could potentially be recyclable but facilities have no reason to collect them because no one will buy them (yet). why is the whole recycling industry not nationalized this should be an entirely government run program think about the new heights of recycling we could reach with state run recycling its so fucked up why are we living like this

Agdgsgsgsg I’m LIVING for this Reef2Reef thread. This guy was worried about his urchins getting sunburnt so he made them little hats

IT GETS BETTER

In the wild these urchins will in fact carry a small rock or shell exactly on top like this and im so happy there’s people taking advantage of that and who care about their urchins as pets.

i visited an aquarium at some point, and our tour guide told that when the staff had a party, they put a little decorative plastic hat from a booze bottle into the sea urching tank, and just left it there because the sea urchins liked it, and kept taking turns in wearing it.

Discovering that sea urchins wearing hats is a thing in this world means so much to me rn

As a species, humans have a lot of faults but our relentless desire to put tiny hats on animals is not one of them.

I’ll never get tired of photos of hats on sea urchins
